DB9 GT Bond Edition Front Front

DB9 GT Bond Edition Rear Rear

Honestly, things move so fast. I completely forgot to mention that the DB9 GT Bond Edition was released on 2 September with 150 being made.

The 6.0-litre V12-engined grand tourer features special Spectre Silver paint; sterling silver Aston Martin badges front and rear; and discreet ‘007 Bond Edition’ exterior badging.

These features build on the styling of the DB9 GT which includes 10-spoke gloss black diamond turned 20in alloy wheels; bright aluminium bonnet vents, side strakes and grille; carbon fibre front splitter and rear diffuser, and grey brake calipers.

Inside, the DB9 GT Bond Edition continues its subtle homage to James Bond with unique numbered sill plaques featuring the familiar 007 logo; gun barrel embroidery on the 2+2’s rear seat divider and a special Bond Edition start-up screen on the new model’s AMi II touch-sensitive Aston Martin infotainment system.

These embellishments add to the car’s already luxurious interior environment…

The Mercedes GLA

“The best or nothing”

The Mercedes GLA is a luxury SUV unveiled by the German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show.
It was previously unveiled to the public at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2013 as a concept car.
Designed to compete with the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, It slots below the Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class, renamed GLC-Class from 2015.
The GLA-Class shares its platform with the A-Class and B-Class, with a similar range of petrol and diesel engines.

The measure of a Mercedes-Benz SUV is its well-rounded capability.
So the GLA’s engineers traveled around the globe to cross-train it: 288 sprints around the Nürburgring. 450 Alpine corners, climbing up to 14,000 feet. 1,000 miles at a test site for tanks. The GLA doesn’t just look agile and muscular. The shape you see is the shape it’s in.

Despite the name, drivers tend to expect less sport and more utility from an SUV.
The confident chassis of the GLA does more than its share to set the balance right, and its cockpit follows through. Crisp gauges and precise controls team up for pure driving fun. You’ll still enjoy the GLA’s abundant space.
